CTVS Department is headed by K. G. Yadav MS, MCH
(Gold Medalist) as Chief Cardiovascular Surgeon.
He has been involved with beating heart surgery,
minimally invasive cardiac surgery, aortic, mitral
and tricuspid valve replacement & repairs,
arrhythmia surgery, aortic & peripheral vascular
surgeries. He was instrumental in performing open
heart surgeries at SDHM Jaipur, Faridabad, Meerut
& Saroj Heart Institute New Delhi. He has
published papers in various national and international
journals and also presented scientific papers
at international meetings.
A team of Senior Doctors and Consultant with well
experienced, technicians and staff nurses.
Narinder Mohan Heart Centre has two state-of-the-art,
Operation theatres each with HEPA filtered laminar
airflow system, equipped with special ALM (France)
surgical lights, Cognate operating table, anaesthesia
machine Siemens and transesophageal echo cardiography
(CTEE). The operation theatres have heart lung
machines, SARNS 8000 and are equipped to perform
all types of cardiovascular surgeries.
Post operative
intensive care and step down units
It is a 18 bedded Intensive Care Unit with state-of-the-art
monitors and Defibrillators from Hewlett Packard
(USA).
With a view
to provide maximum attention to patient care,
Narinder Mohan Centre has provided one is two
Nursing Care in the Post Operative one is to one
in ICCU and Step-Down Units.

Admission
procedure for cardio thoracic surgery
We deem it our duty to apprise you of certain
basic requirements. We expect you to follow, fulfill
and adhere to in mutual interest. Cardiac Surgery
is not something to be afraid of. Since the disease
has been diagnosed after various investigations,
we wish to emphasize the following points prior
to getting admitted in our centre for smooth and
coordinated functioning to avoid unnecessary last
minute delays.
- On the date given to the patient, please report
at the ADMISSION COUNTER and select room according
to your choice. Once admitted, all investigations
such as ECG, Blood, Urine and X-Ray etc., shall
be carried out.
- Stop taking Disprin/Crocin/Clopigrel/Deplatt
Tablets four days before surgery.
- Should the patient decide to defer the day/date
of operation because of religious or social reasons,
the patient should inform us well in advance,
so that surgery can be rescheduled and the slot
booked for you can be given to another patient
waiting for admission/surgery.
- One of the doctors’ from our CTVS unit
shall call on you and take detailed history from
you and also examine you prior to preparing you
for surgery.
- Once all the tests and reports are found to
be NORMAL you will be slotted for your operation
thereafter.
- If you are found to have some Neurological,
Gastrointestinal, Urological, Renal problem,
the services expert will be consulted and the
advice of the concerned consultant shall be
charged in your bill, as an additional expenses.
Open heart surgery package DOES NOT INCLUDE
BRAIN, KIDNEY, ABDOMEN & SKIN TRATMENT.
