For accidents and emergencies, the Casualty Department,
is located strategically at the entry of the hospital.
It is manned, round the clock by Casualty Medical
Officers backed up by specialists doctors on call
from each discipline, nurses and para-medical staff.
It is equipped with its own X-ray machine, ECG machine,
equipment for cardiac monitoring, operation theatre
and emergency medicines. The department is backed
up by the services of Ambulance, Laboratory and
Blood Bank round the clock. Medico-Legal cases are
also being attended.
