The Department of Laboratory Medicine is headed by Dr. (Mrs.) ManjuShree Dubey, MBBS, M.D. She has been involved in the upgradation of services and facilities of the Department of Laboratory Medicine in the hospital with the experience in Hospital Labs since 1976.

The Hospital has a state of the art, ultra-modern laboratory, open 24 hours and 365 days a year. Ours is a highly sophisticated fully computerized lab with latest hi-tech instruments and back-up in all cases.

The hospital has a wide range of investigation facilities available for use by out-patients and in-patients. This includes,
§ Pathological Laboratory ( having Microbiology, Clinical Pathology, Serology, Immunology, Hematology, Clinical Chemistry and Histopathology)

» Hematology
All Hematology work is done on ADVIA 60 and “Swelab” Auto counter 920E0 of Nicholas Piramal.
Coagulation tests are carried out on ERBA Coag UNO of TRANSASIA.

» Biochemistry
All routine and special biochemical investigations are done on Hitachi – 704, Microlab 300 and STAT FAX 3300.

Serum Electrolytes and Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) are done round the clock on ESEHWEILER “Combi-line” and Rapid Lab 348 of BAYER.

» Immunology
All Immuno-Assay are done on ABBOTT AXSYM Systems, STAT FAX Awareness ELISA reader & EPSON Washer
We have wide menu range including Thyroid Profile (Free and Total), Infertility Profile including FSH, LH, Prolactin, Estradiol, Testosterone, DHEAS etc.

Tumor Markers like PSA, Beta HCG, AFP, CA-125, CA-19.9, CEA, CA-72.4, CA-15.3 etc.
We also have Serum Vitamin B12, Folate, Feritin, Serum IgE, TORCH Profile, Hepatitis Markers.
All tests are done on urgent basis if required.

» Microbiology
We have planned an automated Microbiology Department with Bactec-9050 where growth is detected as early as 6 hours.

» Histopathology & Cytology
We have in-house Histopathology & Cytology Department with fully automation.

» Information Technology (IT)
Lab is fully computerized.

Reports are available on Telephonic Service on Narinder Mohan Hospital Extn. 334 .

» Door Step Services
Facilities for Home Sample Collection and Delivery of Report at nominal charges.

» Administration
To supervise, everything, we have full time Senior Pathologists & Microbiologist available from 7:00 am to 06:00 pm and at other times on emergency basis.

Technical & Non-Technical Staff is highly qualified and experienced.
